What people have said ...

I can't thank you enough for both your kind words and for all the work you have done to bolster *****'s confidence and skills in English. It was the key to him winning his place at Cranbrook.
Pupil in Year 8
Without your tutoring, he certainly wouldn't be going to Cranbrook! We are lucky to have had your help; our heartfelt thanks.

We cannot recommend James highly enough. For a pupil who struggles with English, he made it enjoyable and put in an enormous amount of background work. Through patience, encouragement and positivity, the change was miraculous. James tailored his teaching and taught a very structured approach which helped to demystify the subject. My son was always keen to go to his lessons and found every lesson extremely helpful. James is a truly amazing teacher.

We are delighted to let you know that M achieved a Grade 9 for his English Literature GCSE. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for all your excellent tuition and support.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your contribution to my children’s English, particularly ****. At the end of Year 3 he was never ever going to put pen to paper, but somehow you transformed him into a huge lover of the subject. He reads like nobody else I know and spends his spare time writing. He actually asked for a typewriter this last Christmas, so most weekends you’ll find him in his room pecking away. He always has a notebook on the go with story ideas. He honestly is not the same child!

The tuition for the 11+ was invaluable. Her confidence – and scores – increased visibly, session by session. The pass was a vindication of all the hard work. Thank you so much.
Pupil in Year 6
I just wanted to write and say how pleased we are with ****’s progress. He now really looks forward to English and feels so much more confident. What a difference!

I will never be able to thank you enough for what you did with ****, not just on the academic front, but you turned him into a confident student who believed in his ability. Thank you. Whenever I think of Growth Mindset, I always think of you.
